Volunteer with an existing group or organisation

Volunteers can get involved in a number of projects with groups such as Friends of the Maynardville Park, Friends of Die Oog, and Friends of Princess Vlei.

The location, time and requirements vary depending on the nature of work and the organisation you volunteer with.

Apply for a new group or organisation

You will need approval from the City's Recreation and Parks Department if you want to start a new ‘Friends’ group.

Download and complete the application form.

(Incomplete applications will not be processed)

Land / property sketch (indicate area of interest) 
Constitution (A template will be provided on request) 
Motivation letter

Email the completed application form and all supporting documents to RP.Enquiries@capetown.gov.za.
